okellydesign wins 5 GDUSA 2011 Web Design Awards!

I am very pleased to have learned today that okellydesign won five of the prestigious Graphic Design USA 2011 Web Design Awards

GD USA describes their annual competition as an annual celebration of the power of well-designed websites and online communications to attract audiences, disseminate ideas and information, generate response, and promote products and services.

I am very proud that 4 of my projects, and my own site, were recognized by GDUSA, and that they can now take their place alongside the best of this years American interactive design work. Congratulations to all my winning clients! Good work cannot be created in a vacuum, and I am always proud of the collaborative process that my projects involve, of which these types of design-led yet effective sites are a natural result.

The winning client sites were:
Children of Tomorrow; which you can read about here on my site, or view in full here

Stassia Music; which you can read about here on my site, or view in full here

NYU Social Neuroscience Lab; which you can read about here on my site, or view in full here

Small Business Owners for Healthcare Reform; which you can read about here on my site, or view in full here

And lastly, my own site (this one) was also recognized with an award, which was nice!

You can see all the winners, and my own work as presented by GDUSA (they took their own screenshots, as judging was done on the live sites), on their site here. Notice that GDUSA chose Anastassia as the lead image for the entire winners gallery. I can’t imagine why…
