Tradeshow stand designs for a top 100 internet company

Coupons.com is the consumer face of Coupons Inc, on online printable coupons giant. They are consistently one of the top 100 most visited sites on the internet. They have a long-standing relationship with MSDS, with whom I worked for 2 years. Having worked on establishing the print brand for Coupons Inc, I was asked to work on the print materials for Coupons.com, starting with a tradeshow exhibition area.

The identities had been previously designed but had not been extended in any way. For their first tradeshow the company had wanted to focus on the corporate side of things, and so the booth only featured Coupons Inc. The booth had to appeal to retailers and show them both what printable coupons are and whom they would appeal to. I also designed supporting brochure and one-sheet system for this tradeshow, which you can see here. For the booth design I extended the overlay device I had created for the print collateral to give the booth a significant presence at the tradeshow. Direct messaging reinforced what the product was and why retailers should be interested in it.

For a tradeshow exhibition the following year Coupons Inc took a larger space, wanting to show the merits of both Coupons Inc and Coupons.com. The Coupons.com logo and website had been designed but they had no printed materials or styles in place. I worked from the playfulness of the logo to create a punchy printed style which also complemented an evolved Coupons Inc design (since they were being shown side-by-side). The booth featured two sets of backdrops and roll-up posters, as well as an overhead hanging banner and centre table-top stand. The typography was further simplified to get directly to the benefits of online printable coupons, and supporting copy ran through the primary message.
