These are some of the drawings I’ve done over the years. They are all relatively old as I can never seem to find the time to paint or draw anymore. Some day soon I will take up some pastels and begin anew I hope!
1. This is a pencil drawing I did while in college as part of life drawing classes. It is 40” x 60” in size as framed.
2. Here’s a detail image of the facial area of this drawing.
3. This is an A2 drawing I did of Michaelangelo’s Creation. It was done in 1996, when I was 16 and in transition year in school, and so the paper had become quite yellowed. Still looks good, though clearly not a patch on the original!
4. This is a detail of that drawing, showing the face of God.
5. This is a detail of that drawing, showing the face of Adam.
This is a series of observational drawings I did as part of my portfolio to get into design college. They are studies of rhubarb and oranges (chosen for their technical difficulty) and are each roughly A3 in size.
6. Pastel drawing of rhubarb leaves.
7. Pencil drawing of rhubarb leaves
8. Pencil drawing of open orange segments.
9. Pencil drawing of rhubarb stems.
